Still cant come out of Pandora, Admiring Navi gals,  Flying on Vultures, Searching for My Avatar with a cool tail..Guys Avatar is good, but long ... its 170 minutes... Its very good, but if you expect some magic, its your fault.. OBVIOUSLY its a milestone in the history of cinemas... I really enjoyed this movie when i saw this second time yesterday... I went to see it again yesterday as i missed the first 5 minutes on the special show on 17th Dec.  its before the worldwide release.. I wanted to see the movie so desperate., I feel that James Cameroon must have referred some ancient mythologies . Too much of technic - Everyone can watch... Try the 3D version... In india,we need not struggle for this kind of fantasy. We have Ramayana an Mahabarata. we can make these stories with 10 or 20 parts each... A must watch film.. I liked this gal who is flying the helicopter,, watched her in some other movies or serials... (In Ugly betty? .. no  idea...) I am slee...

रब ने बना दी जोड़ी

Recently I've noticed some of my intelligent friends' status messages.... and something came on my mind by seeing each message.. ♫ ..!!!: Forgiving or punishing the Developer is left to Manager. But, Fixing their appointment with Manager is my responsibility....!! - Mate, you already started hating your job... To love is to risk of not being loved in return. To hope is to risk pain. To try is to risk failure, but risk must be taken because the greatest hazard in life is to risk nothing - How many pegs yesterday? @ Work     - Thats a news dude....  In Office   -   what the hell are you doing there? Available - for what? Busy   -   doing what? Away   - from what? Take time to say "I'm sorry" And learn how to forgive. Let justice, love and Loyalty Dictate the way you live -   why you are thinking so much madam ji?  there is nothing to be sorry in this world... दुनिया गोल है... I am sorry guys...(...

When you walk down the aisle..

Life is like a wave with a rise and a fall, one after another... Only the frequency differs... Yea i got the invitation to google wave from google team as I am frequently writing feedbacks to google products.. and experimenting with new pings and waves... but need more people to collaborate... Anyone need invitation, ping me... I got 8 invitations... Its been a fun filled fortnight with lots of travel and lots of events... Here in cheltenham its a racing week... Wanted to go and try my betting luck on some horses as i never been on this gambling before... But due to the sheer admiration for Rahman , i've missed this time and went to this movie called 'Blue'... again a high cost flop from Akshay after Kambaqt Isqh, Tasveer and so many ... wasted the energy of Rahman's music... If i missed today, there will be only one more show on tomorrow evening... But i am not in town as i am packing my first trip to scotland tomorrow morning... but not on a vacation... three d...

You live only twice....Sometimes

As I am in the final lap of the bachelorhood, i am more interested in exploring the activities that I may not get interested after this point of my life. I am back in Cheltenham after two and half years. When I left this place last time, i was very immatured but happy and excited. In between i've lost that joy and excitement. Feeling as if i became a saint and dont want to be a spoilt brat again. But being a spoilt brat gonna provide us joy without affecting others, what is wrong in being a spoilt brat? Last two and half year made a huge change not only in my life. Even I can see the change in the local peoples' day to day life style also. This economic recession influenced so many lives in the western countries. I am not able to see more fashionable outfits among the local people as before. Even the quality of their dress materials looking less ordinary. More local people are staying back in office to meet the project deadlines. I am not able to see those loads of good quality...

Yesterday is not Today

Current Gtalk status Messages 1) Waiting is a game of patience 2) ♫ Patience is the art of hoping 3) I dont like this game - patience any more!!! hrrmphhh 4) ' Inglourious Basterds !' Caught up with some important work like Farming @ Farmville kept me away from blogging for sometime.... Here I am back... after a toiling work at my farm.... Wanted to write about the following " Unnaip Pol Oruvan " Review - Good shot. But always we tend to compare with the original version. So the reason given for Kamal's threats is not so convincing like Nashrudeen sha's. And Kamal's stardom affecting the concept. No one couldn't think Kamal as an ordinary man with vegetable baskets in hand who is helping his wife... Other than that technically brilliant movie... commercially too...People talk about Some quoted details are mismatching ... Background score is too good for a debutant... Chiggy-Wiggy

After celebrating the loss of one year in my lifetime, I am again feeling more energetic and conducting myself better. On an interesting day filled with some software tool training followed by a test and a non alcoholic buffet dinner with people who I can rely on made my birthday special. Gifts - i got from people through my absolute coercion or raw persuasion (or chiggy-wiggyness?) 1. "Imagining India" by Nandan Nilekani (The book which i decided not to buy on my own money) 2. "Effective Leadership Development" by John Adair (One of my friend is still thinking that i read only books related to Leadership and self improvement) 3. A Cadbury 5 Star (One friend still thinking that I didn't grow) 4. A pen stand made with ice cream sticks (Still people didn't know how good I am in preserving my gifts...) 5. Carrot Halwa ( One sad story with a Happy Ending...) 6. "7 Day Weekend" by Ricardo Semler (This is a gift from me for myself.. After reading Maveric...

Pick an Attitude & Live for it

What men dont want from their wives? 1. Too much caring (original or animated). 2. A telephone call from the wife at 12 noon and asking "what are you doing?" when this man is busy with formatting his excel report, a call in the after noon to check this man had his lunch or not and call in the evening to enquire the whereabouts of this man. 3. Trying to get an opinion for anything she do. (e.g what color do you like? am planning to get one nail polish.... (oh god... do men really care all this?) "Say what you think about what i did?") 4. Giving up everything for him in the beginning and trying to make him responsible for that the rest of life. 5. Trying things to impress him which is not her cup of tea. Most of them are my own predictions, some guys may differ... Y'day i was in this place, Thirukadayur Amirthagadeshwarar and Abiraami Amman temple to attend a Sastiabtha Poorthi (60 year completion of a man) of In-laws of my cousin. I went to this place by booking ...

This little part of my life is called MUTED

Its been a muted time in my life majorly filled with inactivity. People keep on saying "Open up". When people conciously expecting me to be more talkative, its more kind of pressure on me. The recent good an bad developments making me more composed. But still people consider a composed person as a boring person. So need to do work on this "wasting time in speaking craps that people interested in". Yesterday (exactly today) gotto watch this crap movie Kanthasamy. Really i dont need to give a review for the movie... but to tell something, Vikram looking good. Shriya exposing a lot that has no effect in teasing the male audience. Camera is not steady on a single object. On storyline, we can equate the movie Kandasamy = 10%(Gentleman)+20%(Indian)+30%(Anniyan)+40%(Sivaji) Few things i wanted to write it here... 1. In Mayaajal, they are starting this movie at 12.15 AM which ended by 3.30 AM. Is it legally permitted according to the rules? 2. When I asked for the movie tic...

Nothing Lasts Forever...

When I am floating myself in the stream of events happening around me, I am more relaxed. Things seems to be unusual. Its ok , let me handle it in my own way.... After reading the last post of ~V~, some thoughts came on mind... 1. Each and every person who come into our life is coming for a reason... They are coming with an agenda... 2. Someone come to spoil us with bad habits 3. Someone come to stop some of our bad habits 4. Someone come to teach us to pronounce the word "didn't" properly with a silent d. 5. Someone born and die quickly to make us believe in God. 6. Someone enter our life to give the taste of betrayal. 7. Someone come to make us feel we are someone special. 8. Someone come to show us the way to enjoy. 9. Someone come to teach us the ways to cheat. 10. Someone come to show what is selflessness is. Collaborate and Be Open to Kill cost

As we are in a world that is hot, flat, crowded and dearer, we are always trying to cut cost in all our businesses, particularly when our receivables are shrinking day by day due to recession and competition. Are we making full use of the tools that made the world flat? Still we are commuting to our offices spending at least 2 hours per day in hot and crowded cities, spending heavily on software licenses, overseas calls and travel costs for client and operational meetings. This article intends to underscore the benefits of online collaboration and switching to open source tools. Rely on skype for making calls, audio and video chat. The voice clarity is so good than any other chat applications. When you make all your team members in a geographically distributed project to log in to skype, you can monitor all the tasks from your home and can get any one online when required. There are so many other applications like Gchat, yahoo messenger etc. You can reduce the number of business travel...

The answer to How is Yes by Peter Block

When I asked to reflect on the excerpts of a book called "The answer to How is Yes " by Peter Block, i came with the following write up by picking up some of the quotes of Peter Block. "I think the idea that bosses will motivate employees is a mistake. It's more important to ask what motivates us than to wonder what motivates others. For me what is motivating is intimacy, full self-expression, idealism, and people talking about their experience with others listening deeply to what they are saying. This releases enormous energy. It's interesting that at meetings or learning events people often display far more energy during the breaks. I want that type of energy to be the norm when we work together" said Peter Block in an interview. The core idea of this book is somewhat similar to the book "The freedom and accountability at work" and when I googled the title, I found that Peter Block is the Co Author of that book. Both of these books underscore the...

Ignorance is Bliss

As I am transitioning from a confused stage of my professional and personal life, I couldn't spend much time on writing posts. Even twittering came as an option, but i am not well worsed in writing so short. The things that I wanted to tell in the post are The difficulty of circus business (After I witnessed a circus show first time in my life). My first visit to Ambience Mall in Gurgaon. Leadership is a trait or habit or choice? Ignorance is bliss, Wisdom is boring, mediocricity is pain.... But now i dont have that patience to write them.. i know most of you also not much interested in it. Recently, some of my friends and colleagues in my company as an informal group combined together started a new initiative to sponsor some students who are really struggling to pay their fees. So everyone of us decided to contribute a child's education for an year. It costs somewhere around 2800+ INR to educate a child for an academic year. We got the list of finacially struggling students an...

Joy 24 X 7

As I doubted earlier, again the daily 2 hour power cut is resuming after the elections here in trichy. Only during the elections, this power cut was not there. It may be one of the reason for the defeat of the ruling coalition in LS elections in Trichy. People started to remember things. Thats a good sign. Its very hurting when India voted against the UN motion for enquiry on War Crimes in Srilanka. I dont know why its not highlighted in media or no reactions from the rebels and tamil activists. We can assume that the war against LTTE was their internal affair, but the war crimes against the civilians can not be ignored by us. People were talking about the sensitivity of Sikhs in Punjab for a murder of a Sikh leader in Austrian Gurudwara in an internal fight against two sects of Sikhs and their reactions in the form of vandalism in Punjab. And they started to label tamil people as insensitive by comparing against this punjab incident. Are they expecting tamil people to engage in violen...

Trichy, the Roc(king) City

For a long time, i wanted to write something about this city Tiruchirappalli, pre dominantly an agrarian zone. In general, its not so happening place. But this is the major city for many other tier 2 towns like Lalgudi, Ariyalur, Jayangondam, Perambalur, Thuraiyur, Manapparai, Pudukkottai, Kulithalai, Karur etc. This is because trichy is well connected to other major cities through rail and national highways. So all the supplies should go to other cities through trichy only. Even pirated DVDs are supplied to other small towns from trichy only. So the electronics, FMCGs and branded stuffs should be supplied from Trichy only. So its a hub for many things. Its located almost center of tamilnadu and most of the southern cities are connected to chennai via trichy only. The city area is very limited to less than 10 km radius. In one circle from Main Guard Gate- Thillai Nagar - Woriur -Puthur - Junction - Palakarai - Main Guard Gate will cover half of the city. Edamalai Patti pudur, KK Nagar,...

Ends and Means...

KPN travels is becoming like a government bus service. Except online booking, there is no other good thing abt the service. No employees are responding properly to passengers. Most of the time buses are not starting on time and not reaching on time. The clothes used in the seat are always dirty. No proper waiting place. This travel company has increased the number of buses exponentially over the years and not able to manage the growth. IPL 2 is not so interesting as season 1, but it opened up so many opportunities for youngsters, corporates, media etc. Eventhough there were some problems about the venues earlier and india's capability to provide security to these kind of big events, the change of location to SA made a big impact in a different way for corporates. When i was waiting for a movie to start in PVR of MGF mall in Gurgaon, i was watching different people and their apparels and outfits. (சும்மா சைட் அடிச்சத எவ்வளவு அழகா சொன்னேன் பார்த்தீங்களா!!) I was noticing some patte...

What we need?

Now the elections are completely over. Most of us voted in this election. Most of us predicting a hanging parliament without any party getting a single majority. Post poll alliances gonna decide the new PM. In the same time all of us expecting something from the new government. Here is my wishlist 1. Stable Government: Creating a stable government is more important. Those whoever going to be the part of government should assure a 5 year commitment to the government. All the issues should be sorted out between parties without shaking the government. In Tamilnadu, we need to appreciate DMK in the last government for not giving any threats to the completion of 5 year period. Like that all the parties should commit to 5 year support to the government despite any issues. This is going to be the crucial factor for the India's progresss from here on . 2. Recession Control: Eventhough our financial system are safe and sound, its true that all of us facing the recessionary pressures. We...

Recommendations to Election Commission

Fortunately i got the chance to vote this parliament election today due to my long sickness leave. People were eager to vote from the morning itself. 65 % turnout is a good number in Tamilnadu. All other booths were free other than the one where i cast my second vote of my life time. I found more people from lower and middle income group were very eager to vote than rich people. I was in the queue for more than a hour to register my vote as there was only one booth for both men and women. I was very keen to watch any malpractices in the process. But when i was there i saw that all things are happening in a fair manner. I was thinking about how to improve the voting percentages and best practices... 1. Creating an option to vote through postal for all those people working in a different place for a shorter terms. 2. Online voting to make all educated people to vote with net banking kind of security encryptions and methods. 3. Bio metric features like finger print reading to avoid vote s...

Live Life King Size

I wanted to write about few things in detail.. But due to the time crunch and i want to live my king size life, i am keeping it short and sweet.... My Delhi trip this week end : Tilak Nagar - Morning Breakfast turned Lunch in a friend's house... Then Sarojini Nagar Market - 10 times bigger than Gurgaon Sector 14 market... Lots of clothes to buy at a cheaper price... Every 2 minute, a guy will approach you to sell a Ray-Ban cooler at a cheaper price- Then to Karol Bagh's Khan Market and the coffee at the Balaji Restaurant in Gurudwara Road near where i stayed 2 years back a hotel called Swati Deluxe- Relived some of the memories - Then to Metro train ride to Rajiv Chowk to visit Connaught Place and Palika Bazaar - Then next stop at Chandni Chowk for dinner in Parattewaale Galli - Shop name Babu Ram Parattewale - Very good chilli parattas, Puhina parattas & Bendi Parattas - Sweet Lussies. Chandni Chowk is really a happening place..... Review for the "Revolutionary Road...

Gurgaon - Sector 14

Just thinking of a title something like Delhi-6. Every place and locality has a flavour to it. By hearing the locality name itself will remind you some aroma, taste, sound, people, color etc. If you say Chennai-18, its T-nagar, you can sense the shopping crowd, Chennai Silks, Lalita Jewellery, Toy shops over the parked cars in Pondy Bazaar, smell of Murugan Idly Kadai's onion uthappam and so on... If you tell Secundarabad, the first thing that i come to my sense is Paradaise biriyani. The word Andheri will remind us the crowded trains of mumbai & the Vada Pavs... Only very few places will touch all the senses... Its been almost 4 months since i came to Gurgaon. I think i never been out of home(tamil nadu) so long when I am staying in the country itself. Something near to this period i stayed out was when i stayed in hyderabad. This time i wanted to be here for long time and test my patience or my eagerness to go back to home for some reasons. But this particular task was easy ...
