The intended direct cash transfer scheme from the Indian government seems to be logically not thought through. cant we think of a better solution that solve the real issues? First let me ask some basic questions  1. People below poverty line may not have a bank account. How these people can be included financially? 2. Will the money transferred to the male member of the family or female member? You may know why its an important question? 3. How the government can make sure the money is spent for intended purposes? 4. Because of these cash transfer, in which areas the government spending will be reduced? 5. How the government can ensure the availability of quality food grains at optimum prices? 6. What will happen to PDSs across country and the Food Corporation of India? 7. After some bad experiences with some corporates and their approach to the consumers, i wish to write reviews about them. It will help the consumers to be aware while choosing services. Bad experience We wanted to take the airtel d2h, since they provide dvr (digital video recording) option in the latest set top boxes. So we paid for the set top box costing around 4700 and chose a plan with some HD channels. When they came for installation, they said only limited length of cable will be provided as free (dish to inside home.. I guess it's 20 feet is free). Most of the houses, this length will not suffice to reach the hall. If you need to install the dish in 3 floors above, you need more length of cable and shed a good amount of money in this. I paid somewhere around 250 rupees for additional length of cable. Second, Their web site is not allowing me to change the plan to a cheaper one. I used to get calls from numbers starting from 91120, 913130 and 91140 which are usually originating from a VoIP based phones from various Indian tele marketing companies. Event though I registered for DND Facility, I continued to get those calls. To avoid this particular issue, finally I found this Mr.Number from android market. Usually most of these call blocking apps will block only a particular number. But this app can block any number with a particular starting number sequence. So I tried setting up block calls from numbers starting with 91120. So all those calls are getting blocked. I am saving a lot of time.
