I wanted to write about few things in detail.. But due to the time crunch and i want to live my king size life, i am keeping it short and sweet....
My Delhi trip this week end : Tilak Nagar - Morning Breakfast turned Lunch in a friend's house... Then Sarojini Nagar Market - 10 times bigger than Gurgaon Sector 14 market... Lots of clothes to buy at a cheaper price... Every 2 minute, a guy will approach you to sell a Ray-Ban cooler at a cheaper price- Then to Karol Bagh's Khan Market and the coffee at the Balaji Restaurant in Gurudwara Road near where i stayed 2 years back a hotel called Swati Deluxe- Relived some of the memories - Then to Metro train ride to Rajiv Chowk to visit Connaught Place and Palika Bazaar - Then next stop at Chandni Chowk for dinner in Parattewaale Galli - Shop name Babu Ram Parattewale - Very good chilli parattas, Puhina parattas & Bendi Parattas - Sweet Lussies. Chandni Chowk is really a happening place.....
Review for the "Revolutionary Road" - Very good movie.... Kate Winslet could have got the oscars for this movie rather than for The Reader. De Caprio also equally good.... I saw it very late..
Review for "Ayan" - A masala movie in Surya's collection. Watch One time movie... Some scenes trying to remind "Catch me if you can". 2 songs are very nice... "Pala Palakur Pagala nee" by Hariharan and the more catchy song is "Vizhi moodi yositthal" by Karthik (Which is my last post as a trial for audio post)
Srilankan Genocide - Got some scary pictures of Srilankan military attack over tamil provinces. Many of them were kids without the head or hands or torned bodies.. Not able to understand whats the role of international media there... Its very sad that indian government is doing nothing to protect them.... Need more concrete action...
Chennai South - The IIM guy E.Sarathbabu is contesting as an independent candidate from Chennai South. Its a good thing that we see in Indian politics. People need to support him. As Narayana Murthy said, "independent canidates can make the difference in this poll". If we can get a handful of talented and honest independent candidates, they can force a good government.
All my friends in Chennai - South "Please Vote for Sarath Babu"
If you are not from Chennai-South, Spread the message to Chennai-South voters (people you may know or may not know)
