What we need?

Now the elections are completely over. Most of us voted in this election. Most of us predicting a hanging parliament without any party getting a single majority. Post poll alliances gonna decide the new PM. In the same time all of us expecting something from the new government. Here is my wishlist

1. Stable Government: Creating a stable government is more important. Those whoever going to be the part of government should assure a 5 year commitment to the government. All the issues should be sorted out between parties without shaking the government. In Tamilnadu, we need to appreciate DMK in the last government for not giving any threats to the completion of 5 year period. Like that all the parties should commit to 5 year support to the government despite any issues. This is going to be the crucial factor for the India's progresss from here on .
2. Recession Control: Eventhough our financial system are safe and sound, its true that all of us facing the recessionary pressures. We need to regulate the finacial markets with much caution. Need to eliminate the FDIs from unknown / ananymous sources and watch for the injection of money to finacial markets by terrorist organisation. There should be some minimum lock in period for FDIs. More regulations are essential on Lending over Lending by financial institutions. Control speculation of prices on food products through futures and options.
3. Tackling Terrorism: Its time to rethink about our national security. We need take more pre cautionary measures and rigid rules to tackle the global terrorism. For that its vital to work with neighbouring countries like Pakistan, Bangladesh and Srilanka. Without understanding the fact that everyone of us is a victim to brutal terrorism, its tough to co-ordinate between countries.
4. Power Generation: Keeping alive of the N-Deal with US and continue to generate enough FDIs and import of safe technologies in Nuclear power generation business. Making more partnership with big countries in Nuclear business. Reducing the coal based power generation and improving the clean power generation methods like wind, bio and nuclear. India going to be more energy hungry nation to keep up the 7 % GDP rate in coming years. Moreover i dont want to miss any IPL matches due to power cut. I dont want my grand mom to suffer without fan in the summer. For more than 3 months we faced daily 2 hrs power cut ffrom noon to 2 PM untill last week. I hope it will not start again as all the elections are over in this constituency.
5. Agrarian / Service / Industrial Economy : We need to maintain a perfect mix of all the three sector in the country. Service industry can suffer even if Obama signs a simple regulatory bill on outsourcing companies. So we need to improve the agriculture and manufacturing sector too. only when we have a command in agriculture, we can regulate the world food prices. It will be a counter mechanism to control the speculation on oil prices by others. Writing off the agricultural loans alone will not help to improve the life of farmers. Need to educate the farmers in modern agriculture technologies. Waiver of import duties, tax etc on latest equipments, removing the multiple level of intermediary in agricultural market to give the major benefit to the farmers etc will help to improve the standards of farmers' lives. Manufacturing sector need a boost with more FDIs, Equally distributed SEZs across country in tier 2 and tier 3 cities. Modernisation of industires and more safety measures. Better employment opportunities to rural youths and better pay scales.
6. Foreign Investments : Its obvious that FDIs are the core fuel to the economy. But we should take a cautious decision about in which sector we need more FDIs. Opening up of Insurance and Banking for FDIs are not necessary as we have a good banking and insurance industry already. Telecom also we are almost there on par with developed countries. Still we need to catch up with more internet and computer penetration with latest networking options. The major FDIs which we need to encourage is in the area of infrastructure. We need more highways, hi speed railways, international and domestic airports, ports, civil aviation to spread the development across country from Kanyakumari to Kashmir and Kutch to Arunachal pradesh. Mass Rapid Transportation in big cities like Chennai, mumbai and bangalore are necessary to tackle the growth. We need more industries, townships and SEZs in all regions. We need to spread the population equally across country. We need more dams, water distribution system, effective power grids, GPS systems etc. Opening up these sectgors for FDIs should be given top priority. If the government can finish the Sethu Samuthiram project, it will be a top notch.
7. Education Reforms: Eventhough our education system is doing well in the world arena, still we need to make more reforms in this stream. More importance should be given for the education of childeren from BPL (Below Poverty Line) families. Free education with free daily meal should be provided to these children across country. Reducing the number of school drop outs. Developing an attitude among students to take up the education of their own interest rather than taking up an education for employment opportunities. So we need to create more jobs for arts students also, not only to engineering graduates. Sports, journalism, tourism, media, entertainment, geology, fashion, Catering, Hospitality, Event Management, Painting, Writing, Authoring, Publishing and everything should be a choice for the student to take up without worrying about the fear of not getting a job or not enough money on the job. We need to create more original thinkers than copy cats from the new education system. We need to make those original thinkers from IITs and IIMs to work for India. So we need to create an environment where everyone want to start up their own projects here in India than working for an MNC. Over all we need to make our education system and the industries in sync in equal proportion. Education should provide the self interest, more life managing skills and better jobs. Even we are ready to pay little more cess for education. Regulation of fees and standard of education and infrastructure should be in place to check the private colleges and schools from collecting more money and providing lower standards of education with poor infrastructure.
8. Corruption Free: We need to be more corruption free country. Need to remove the red tapism in the bueraucracy. More simple procedures in every government department will help. Need to bring out the black money from the banks in foreign countries those vowing to secrecy of account holders.
9. Better Helath Care: Need much better health care and sanitation facilities. Need to improve the standards of public hospitals.
10. Common Civil Code: To prove that we are a pure democracy we need to bring an common civil code for everyone. There should not be any minority or majority. Everyone should be treated equal. Need to remove the vote bank politics.
Lets see whether my dreams going to be true or they gonna be as they are....
