Show me the meaning....

For the past few days i am jumping into water in different sources other than bath room shower due to the demise of my grandma...Today i got a chance to dip myself into cauvery once again after a long time... It was fun... But same time the place (Amma Mandapam) was crowded as today being the first day of the tamil month "Kaarthigai" ( i guess???) The view was more photogenic with the rockfort temple from the banks....Many people came to perform the eternal rites to their dead family members... Most of them, performing this for namesake... I doubt whether these rituals has meaning in the current context....???????? I am not an aethist though... still some of the routines we are following are questionable, meaningless(?) and outdated....
One more thing that came to my mind that people want other people to blabber and speak rubbish just to prove they are jovial.... No one talk straight or I dont understand the art of making some conversation...???
Got to catch my bus to Chennai... let me leave with my favourite lines once again...

ஆடி மாத அடாவடிகள்
