As most of us expected, we got our man on white House. This is the beginning for the change. Not the change itself. People say Indian firms will get affected due to Obama's outsourcing policy. We need not fear worry about it, because there is less number of people in the world's job market to do the kind of job Indians doing. Probably there will be a surge in number of H1Bs to fill the jobs there. One more factor is that even US has their own Human Resource to their needs, the population is geographically dispersed. So it will be tough to assemble their Human Resource in one place than migrating people from other countries.
What are the Changes we (I) expect from the new Democratic President are
->Pull out troops from Iraq and use them for reconstruction / security of US.
->Help Afghanistan to have a democracy without any interference.
->Reduce the Petro Dollar Dictatorship and Promote Alternate Energy policies.
->Stop selling arms/weapons to any country.
->Regulating the financial market in a fair manner.
->Finding Win-Win formulae Foreign Policy with all countries rather than sanctions and Free Trade Agreements.
->Encouraging Green / Clean technologies and make them cheaper or free.
->Make US as a big Producer rather than a big Consumer.
->Try to convert all Nuclear Energy in to productive areas from defense.
->Use the entire US defense in US region itself. !!!
->Don’t involve in other regional conflicts unnecessarily.
->Try to fix up the inside problems first.
->American way of living is not necessarily be Crazy and Lavish…
->Encourage people to study math and science
->Work for Uneducated Black peoples’ betterment
->Share the medical technologies and other inventions to the world
->Don’t consider China or Russia as a Competitor
->Try to co exist in a peaceful manner
If you start do this, no terrorist will think for a master plan to hit US
The world is dependent on each other. If someone going to manipulate others with the price of Oil, then someone else need to tackle it by manipulating the price of wheat and rice. So we need to concentrate on achieving a co-existence with an improved standard of living.
These are the things which I want to change through this new leadership in Washington. I hope there will be more expectations from my brothers/sisters living in the United States. At least everyone is expecting some change in their day to day life…
