I got one more favourite dialogue recently. Something goes like this "The teen ager Saying No to drugs and Saying Yes to Education is miracle. A single mom working on two jobs and yet find time to take his kid to football practice is a miracle. All the power to make miracle is with you. but still you want me to do miracles for you" - statement by God as Morgan Freeman to Bruce Nolan as Jim Carrey in Bruce Almighty. This is my favourite movie of this week among others like "Janne Na Ya Jaane Tu", "Goal" and "Ladri Di Biciclette".
"Jaane Na Ya Jaane Tu" is again a story of confused adolescent kids those who dont know how to select their partners and keep on changing their mind about best over others. They keep confusing everyone and make someone as "Bakraa". There is no much difference from "Jab We Met".
"Dhan Dhanaa Dhan Goal" - It is an attempt to mimic the "Chak De India" and they miserably failed in that. The South Hall football team consists only Asians like Pakistanis, Indians and Bangla Deshis. None of them has the physic of a footballer except John Abraham. There is an unnecessary song in a party -"Billo Rani". There is no logic for a City Counsellor to be keen on defeat of this foot ball club. When the team looking for fund, no one is there... and when they reach final there were people with drums and dance costume to cheer up...
"Ladri Di biciclette" - This 1949 italian movie is an interesting one. Its very impressive atleast because of the time its made. And as our guys says there is not much similarities between this movie and "polladhavan" except the Heroes looking for their stolen bikes. Vetrimaaran did a good job in his debut movie... I guess this guy can make some stunning movies in the coming years. Ok in this old movie, the father and his kid is searching the stolen bicycle which is very essential for his job planting movie posters in streets. Finally the frustrated father trying to steal another bicycle and get caught by people. The kid see his father running away with the bicycle and get caught by people and beaten by them. Finally they both walking back to home with so much despair. Here the story ends... The boy look cute and acted well...
Enough of movies... for this week...
I hope by this time so many people are trying my recipie in your home... Feed me back with results...
And by the way one of my folk asked what is Haldi Powder... People call it as "Turmeric Powder" in english and "Manjal Thool" (மஞ்சள் தூள்) in tamil.
