On a sober friday evening after getting up late from the bed (early evening 4.30), wanted to try some local food. So we decided to explore the city and finally couldn't decide where to go and ended up going to City Stars, the same mall where we used to go for our lunch. We were roaming and exploring the unknown floors where we never climbed due to the time constraints. First we had a Latte in an exotic place called Casper& Gambinis. Then we started our windows shopping till our folks come out of the cinema hall in the same Mall. Selfish guys left us while sleeping and was watching Narnia, Prince of Caspian. When we try to enter a place called Rain Forest, we were enquired by the Security about what we need. We told just we want to shop. Actually its a restaurant and a small shopping place particulary targetting kids. Nearby there is a place called Magic World for kids. Then we started looking at restaurants for the next event. We wanted to try Wagamama for a long time. Mexican grill also in target. But one board attracted me there. Parking:only for Chili's customers. Other Cars will be destroyed and melted. So got a curiosity and started to stare what is inside. I saw some people eat colorful rice with a big corn. It was so long time since i had this corn. The food was very attractive when i watch it from outside. And immediately decided to go to that place. Then we were picking up our guys from Stars Cinema who already got hold of one of our counterpart from the client side for cinema. That gentleman Mr.Ashraf is from Luxor and flying up and down to Cairo every week end. He wanted to take us to some place here for food or some entertainment to reveal the traditional Egyptian hospitality. And this time he wanted to take us to dinner immediately. I suggested the my recent favourite Chili's. After we enter the place, I was very disappointed when i came to know that all corn were over. And no other vegetarian food in the menu also. So i came to a conclusion that am gonna eat only fries. Finally the waiter sugested me a Chili's Vegetarian speciality called Florida. So i wanted to give a try. It was a sizzler with rice and black beans with capsicums and onions on it. Additionally they provided some chopped tomoto, cheese and mayonese and 3 pieces of roti kind of wrap. By the look of it, i decided that its gonna be very good. Obviously there is no doubt about the taste. When i ordered a bottomless cola, i thought that i need to make use of the offer atleast for 3 cups. But this sizzler made me forget about my maximum ROE (Return on Expenses) theory. I couldn't finish one glass also. This was one of the best food i had after i came to Cairo. I can rate it among my top tens. That reminded me of the Portuguese extra hot peri peri burger which i had in Nando's in Cheltenham, off High street, opposite to Cine World. Anyway this is so good and i wanted to write about it. Forgot to take a picture of Florida (Need to enquire about the reason for the name) but i took one of City stars from Level 5. The security said that taking picture is prohibited. Anyway i already took one for the blog.
When i came to room back, i saw this movie called 21, about an MIT student (Ben) who want to join Harvard Medical School, but struggling for money for the living and study expenses. $300 000. After seeing his brilliance, his Math (Non Linear) Professor Mickey (Kevin Spacey) want him to join his secret student group which mastering the Black Jack game. Every week end this team go to Vegas and win money in Casinos with secret identities. They become hit and there is a problem in the secret team members and the manager Mickey. What happens in the end is so dazling and jump off the page. The term "Winner Winner Chicken Dinner" from the Chinese Dealer is the good phrase caught up my mind. When I recall the last dinner, i felt like a Winner and this movie. I hope this feeling should last long to do good things....
