தமிழுக்கும் அமுதென்று பேர் ...

I always wanted to write more in tamil. I feel very happy whenever I hear or speak this language. Like everyone I also have the love for my mother tongue. Its one of the oldest and classical language. But this pride should not stop us from learning other languages. And we can not consider anyother language is inferior to tamil. After all languages are to express and communicate better. Most of the well educated tamil people become as equal to illiterates when they move out of tamilnadu. And most of our guys has more pride about the language and adamant enough not to learn other languages. But there are exceptions. Ok the topic become more political, i will write about it in my other blog some other time. What made me amused was that day when i play "Mudhal Mazhai" song (Bheema movie) from my ipod connecting to tv in my hotel room here in Cairo, suddenly there is a knocking in the door. When I opened the door, the person standing there asked me "R u from India?" When i said "Yes" the next question is "Neenga thamizhaa?". He knocked the door immediately after hearing the initial humming of the song "Mehu mehu mehuaha" (which language? should be Zulu or Tagolok!!!! Harris Jayaraj has to reveal. For So many lines I need to ask the meaning to him if i get a chance to meet. "Omaha Seeya Oc Meeya Oc meeya Meema mema Saaya" from Kaaka Kaaka, "Ochaama Cheeyima Ochaama Cheeyima" from Unnale Unnale, and many more strange sounds in almost every movie he works... we wil discuss it in a different blog. Back to main story..) So we had a chat about our purpose of visit and the natives. Then I started giving advice to him about how to go to places in Cairo as if I am a local guy. So basically What I want to say here in this blog is, how the movie songs help to connect people. My easy way of reducing tensions and outlet for all the locked up emotions is music. That too majorly tamil film music. I like Hindi songs also to some extent and some Carnatic numbers too. I am still not very much comfortable with english albums except few lines like "Show me the meaning of being lonely", "I'll be there for you" etc...

I have a strange habit of singing songs from in between lines... In a very happy moment, I will start a very melancholic tunes, when I am morally down and worried, suddenly some very peppy number will come out instinctively. Most of my close friends knows about my habit of my singing tortures (???) and my usual lines also....

Try to figure out the folowing songs from which album or movie

Like this so many small sequences at different moments in different voices... But the song will not reflect my mood anytime.... Ok tell me which song is from which movie....

(I am trying to type in tamil and hindi but still need some practice to put proper letters.. sometimes its not easy to get the correct letter)
