My first visit to the pink city Jaipur...

Anyways the things that I wanted to write....

VOTE without FAIL :

Elections are on..... Please everyone vote without fail.... I think i may not get a chance to vote even if i am in India.... Elections gonna take place in 5 phases... My own constituency is somewhere else (Lets say City X in South of Tamilnadu) and i am working in another place..... which is nearly 3000 k.m apart....(like Delhi) I will not get a holiday on when there is election on my home town. Even if i get one day holiday, it will cost me minimum 10000 INR to travel to and fro. Will someone compensate this ? Or Do i need to bear this? But i want to vote.... How we can solve this problem? I am sure, like me there are atleast some 2 to 3 percentage of the voters are migrant workers inside the country itself..... If we can make them vote through someother medium, many of us will vote.... With the fast growing technology and connectivities we can do this and it will not cost me much also....Or even a postal vote should be taken into consideration. Election Commissioner need to think about this kind of problems.

Better to Give Single Majority

Its time to vote for a party which can take a single majority... Otherwise we are again gonna witness all dramas of regional parties and a hanging instable government.....There are only 2 parties which can think somewhere close to majority (Congress & BJP).... But in the current political scenario and alignments, its tough for them even to contest in the no of seats required for majority.... So its time for parties to think about making a stable government and people to think about the same....

Shikar / Salasar Balaji Temple

Suddenly I got this chance to go to this temple last week end. I didn't know that this is a Hanuman temple before i reach there. I am still confused why they call it as a Balaji temple. A typical north indian temple. Not much problem in reaching there from Gurgaon in a 5 hour trip in car. The thing which needs special attention is the local begging women... They may kind of threaten you to give moeny by surrounding you.... Little hard to deal with them if you are really a soft guy..... When i read abt this temple in internet, i found that Salsarji Balaji is a great pilgrimage of Lord hanuman in India. It is said that every desire of devotee is fulfilled by Lord Balaji. Several lacs of devotees reach here every year from every corner of India for Dharsna.

So i also put down some of my wishlist to Swami Anjaneya by tying a cocunut.... Still he need to give whatever i asked him last time in Kaattu Veera Aanjaneyar temple near hosur..

Pink City and the Paan wala...

In Jaipur We got some pairs of slippers... They told the slippers made out of Camel leather... But it doesn't matter... Eveywhere traders are traders... They came to a 700 buck deal for 3 pairs which he initially quoted at 1300... But i felt its still little high than what he offered for a local guy.... And night time, we stopped at a Pan shop...it was fully crowded... After that i came to know that his turnover per day is more than 200 thousands INR .. People are eating his Paan and making the city more pinker by spitting... Visited a Krishna temple in Jaipur... Saw Jal Mahal, Hawa Mehal etc from outside. Planning to explore the Rajasthan again ...
