After a Short Break

Its good to be back in chennai for some time. Wanted to write a lot of things. But couldn't manage to find time between friends, family, work and their tortures. Someo f the things i have noticed to write

1. Sign Boards in Malayalam in Muscat Airport. Felt good.
2. Train Reservation Form in Malayalam/English in Trichy. Little weird.
3. The cute gal Dhanya who sang "Mukunda Mukunda" for me when we were waiting for the selection round of Raj TV's Top Singer Programme at Trichy.
4. Friends'marriage attended in Kondayampalli, Salem district.
5. The movie "Jayam Kondaan" in Mina theatre where i slept from the 10th minute of the movie.
6. An enjoyable evening in lonely part of Kollidam river and the amusements with its new water.
7. The movie list which I want to see, but keep on dragging. I thought i can watch more movies if i come to India. Here the situation is upside down.
8. Struggles of old people suffering in illness.
9. Joy of new babies coming into family.
10. The life in between 9 and 8.

Anyway i will write about them whenever i get more time.

ஆடி மாத அடாவடிகள்

மன்மத வருடத்தில் நாளை கடைசி ஆடி வெள்ளி. ஒரு பக்கம் எல்லா கடைகளும் ஆடி தள்ளுபடின்னு விலைய ஏத்தி அத பெரிசா 50%, 70% கழிவுன்னு சொல்லி விளம்பரம் கொடுக்க, இன்னொரு பக்கம் இந்த பக்த கேடிகள், சாரி பக்த கொடிகள் தெருவுக்கு தெரு பண்ணும் அட்டகாசங்கள் தாங்க முடியல. ஆடி மாசம் வெள்ளி கிழமைல வண்டி எடுக்கறதுக்கு பயமா இருக்கு. நல்லா போட்ட ரோட்ட குழி தோண்டி, பந்தல் போட்டு, நடு வீதியில ட்ராபிக்க மறிச்சு, கூழ் ஊத்தி, புஷ்பவனம் குப்பு சாமிய கூட்டி வந்து கச்சேரி நடத்தி, பெரிய பெரிய சாமி உருவ சீரியல் செட் போட்டு, ஒரு கிலோ மீட்டருக்கு ட்யுப் லைட் போட்டு ஒரு வழி பண்ணி, எல்லா அம்மன் கோயில் இருக்கும் ஏரியாவையும் ஒன் வேயா மாத்தி, லௌட் ஸ்பீக்கற அலற விட்டு மக்களை நாத்திகர்களாக மாற்றி கொண்டு இருக்குறாங்க. இவங்க பண்ற செலவுல இருக்குற கோயில விட பெரிய கோயிலே கட்டலாம். கோயிலே பத்துக்கு பத்து அளவுதான். அதுக்கு பந்தல் அது மாதிரி பத்து மடங்கு. இது இப்படியே போனா விவேக் சொல்ற மாதிரி பத்து பெரியார் உருவானாலும் ஆச்சரிய பட முடியாது. இவங்க மக்கள் கிட்ட வசூல் பண்ற காச வச்...

மதில் மேல் மனசு

நிறைய எழுத வேண்டும் என்ற ஆசை இருந்தால் மட்டும் போதாது... அதற்கு ஒரு தனி ஆர்வமும் நேரம் ஒதுக்கி முயற்சிப்பதும் அவசியம்... பகிர்ந்து கொள்ள நினைத்து பதிய முடியாமல் போன விஷயங்கள் நிறைய... 1 சென்னை புத்தக கண்காட்சியும் அதில் வாங்கிய புத்தகங்களும்... அநேகமாக 2 மாதங்களுக்கு முன்பு நடந்த புத்தக கண்காட்சியில் முதல் முறையாக செல்ல நேர்ந்தது... ஒரே இடத்தில அனைத்து பதிப்பகங்களும் திரண்டு இருந்தது வாசகர்களுக்கு ஏக கொண்டாட்டம். அனைத்து ஸ்டால்களையும் ஒரு மாலையில் பார்வையிடுவது முடியாத காரியம். ஒரு முழு நாள் தேவை. பாதி கூட்டம் வெளியில் உள்ள சாப்பாட்டு ஸ்டால்களை மட்டுமே டார்கெட் செய்து வந்திருந்தது. ஒரு கூட்டம் பொழுது போக்கிற்காக வெளி மைதானத்தில் நடந்த மியூசிக் ஆர்கெஸ்ட்ரா கேட்டு கொண்டு கடலை சாப்பிட்டு கொண்டு இருந்தது... கண் தெரியாத இளைஞர் ஒருவர் கஷ்டமான "என்னமோ ஏதோ" என்ற "கோ" பட பாடலை ரசித்து பாடினார். நான் புத்தகங்களை வாங்குவதில் மிக சிரமப் பட்டு விட்டேன். எதை எடுக்க எதை விட என்று புரிய வில்லை. கடைசியாக "ஸ்ரீரங்கத்து தேவதைகள்" - சுஜாதா, "வாஷிங்டனில் த...
