Don't Make it Hung..

Tomorrow is the election day here in UK. When looking at the election debates and the campaigns as an outsider, we can analyse who is the most promising candidate for the PM job. As we dont know much about the UK political system, so far we thought its a two party politics. We mainly know only the Labour and the Conservatives. But recently we came to know about the Liberal Democratics and BNPs. As BNP is not in the big picture with a racist label on them, its only current ruling party Labour, Conservatives (Tories) and Liberal Democratics led by Gordon Brown, David Cameron and Nick Clegg respectively.

When there was a stage Cameron leading all the opinion polls, Nick Clegg scored when he appeared in the first debate. Now the situation seems to be heading for a hung parliament. And an understanding between Labour and Lib Dems pose serious threat to Tories. Today Labour indicated its supporters to vote 'tactfully' in constitutions where Tories are ahead in race with Lib Dems in number two. This is one of the move which can get a "Not Fair Practice" comment from critics. Still one more day to go, things may turn any way.

By analysing the debates, we can clearly tell that Gordon Brown got more content than any one. But the point clearly indicated by Cameron is that Brown got all the time to action those contents. But speaking them in the election campaign alone will not help. Nick Clegg has a clear lead in PR skills and debate.

Nick Clegg got some impractical ideas like providing amnesty to all illegal immigrants, joining euro, providing location based visa to skilled workers from outside the country etc. He is an anti-US and Pro-EU candidate. But Cameron seems to be anti EU. But most of the Cameron's polices are workable. His plans of privatising NHS is a great idea. Its really an annoying place if you dont get a medical treatment for your high fever on a saturday or sunday. Health sector is not working like an essential services here. To make it an essential service, opening up private competition will improve the situation. For that there should be a controlled immigration policy for Medical professionals from other countries.

This country needs more reforms in Education, Health, Banking, Media, TV Licencing, Insurance, Foreign Affairs etc. Good corporate governance is essential. Executives are enjoying more benefits in the form of perks like luxury hotel accommodation, travel, phone bills etc. Insurance companies are reckless in spending on officials. Many night pubs are collecting entry fees without any receipts. Obviously those unbilled money are circulating in black markets.  To do all the reforms, a hung parliament is not a solution. So people think before vote. Or at least vote.
