இதுவும் கடந்து போகும்

Everyone is talking about inflation. And suddenly today its reached 11.05 in india at 13 year high. So whatever i bought for 100 bucks last year, this year i am gonna pay 111.05 for the same. I guess my calculation is right, unless otherwise blame it on my 11th standard economics teacher. It has global impact also. In UK its somewhere around 4 %. So what we gonna do now?
Here is my advice for everyone.. its free... and free to distribute..
1. Use your tooth paste completely. If the tube looks flat, dont believe it, squeeze it with the help of a key and then use it...
2. Dont unnecessarily subscribe to gym, just because to tell your friends that you work out in a costly gym. You subscribe it for quarterly or annualy, but visit the gym occassionally. Its better to do some floor excercises in home itself. And dont do any non sense by buying gym gears like wrist band, head band etc...
3. Eat a normal break fast and dont waste food.
4. Go to work in public transport than using your car. If you are using your motor bike, pick up your friend also who uses the public transport system.
5. Postpone all your purchase of not so important things. Bargain wherever you feel the price is not proper.
6. Rethink about throwing your old shoe and buying a new one. Not only for shoes, same for jeans, phones, refridgerator, AC and whatever.
7. Dont go to Cinema and spend your valuable money and time. Try to get the entertainment at home or go places like park, beach etc where you dont spend much. Cut down the unnecessary outings for some time.
8. Cook food in house and eat rather than spending on restaurants.
9. Save money now. If all your money are in savings account, try to maked fixed deposits where you get more interest or invest them wisely in mutual funds or equities. Dont afraid about the fall in market. Look for long time investments and select your equities carefully across industries. This is the correct time to invest in capital markets.
10. Dont make unnecessary phone calls and spoil your money and mood...
This situation is temporary. And will back to normal in the future, but not sure about the time line. I remember the television serial 'Chithi' from which i came to know the famous phrase "இதுவும் கடந்து போகும்"

Is Flat World only for IT people?

Recently when I visited my Aunty in Pune, she was complaining about the youngsters who are working in IT companies. It seems these young kids inflating the prices in the city. Pune is emerging as a new IT hub for many multi nationals and Indian Software giants due to various reasons. The climate is very conducive for international clients. Adequate water supply and electricity favours the industries. Connectivity from Mumbai through an international standard Express Highway can take you to the city in 2 to 2 and half hours. Previously Pune supposed to be an industrial city, now becoming an IT hub due to various drawbacks of Bangalore, Chennai and Mumbai. I read some survey about the highly developing cities in India which has the top 2 positions with Gurgaon and Pune. Coming back to the spending habits of IT people, it is certain that people working in other sectors affecting because of this. Real estate businesses are soaring; even tomato and brinjal prices are hiked in these cities. ...
